Question on Fitment

First post on the forum, just been a "looker" until now! Looking at getting a set of 18x9.5 +22. Just wondering how much work will be needed to make them fit and how they will look. Will be running a 255 tire since I already have them from a previous set of wheels. Any input will be appreciated!

that is a pretty aggressive setup for the ct9a. depending on how much camber you are going to run, you are most likely going to need to roll and/or pull your rear fenders

and welcome to evom!

Dont do it Although I like that youre looking at aggressive set-ups, this will be tough to fit w/out some serious rear & some front fender work

The 255 tire on a +22 is also very aggressive & will not fit well w/out the noted fender work

Joe

BTW, adding camber to make W/T's fit is not recommend. If your W/T set-up wont clear on stock camber, then it just dont fit!

Thanks for the info so far. I am also thinking that is not something I want to deal with. I am a certified body tech, but that is too much work to do on a car with nice paint and as it is my daily right now. My other option is a 18x9.5 +35 the manufactur is saying they will not clear the brakes due to the wheel design. If I have to run say a 10mil spacer up front, how will that look

My advice is to take your time & pick the best wheel that suits what youre willing to do to make it fit

There are many wheels that fit the EVO's front brakes w/out running spacers. I dont particularly like spacers but Im not dead set against them

18x9.5 +35 is a solid, good offset for the EVO but it doesnt poke as well as a +29

Rifle through all the wheel threads & dial in on what you like based on fitment requirements
