RPF1 fitment

Bought an '05 and it's currently on 17x10 +18 RPF1's but I'm looking for a little less wheel. Anyone have pics of a 17x9 or 17x9.5 with either +35 or +38 offset? Going to try and sell these or possibly even trade someone straight across but would like pics of the fitment first.

Thanks,
Anthony

Here's some of my car before front fender mod (17x9 +35 with 20mm spacers up front):

Was it necessary to do the fender mod for clearance? What suspension are you running?

Can you please post pics of your car with the 17x10's? Maybe from the front, rear, and front quarter? Are you having rubbing issues?

Not sure, car has been down for a full build. However, it looked like a fender mod would have been necessary. I mostly did the fender mod because I could not stand how far the wheels/tires stuck out past the fenders. I'm on stock struts (not bilsteins) with swift sports. Getting an alignment in the next week or two once the car is running and can report back with my findings. FWIW, tires are 245/45/17 continental DWS all-seasons. I plan on getting 255/40/17 Dunlop ZII for summer. I don't believe either of these tires requires rear fender rolling so long as camber is adjusted 'correctly'.

The 17X9 ET22 is 9mm into the front of the caliper. It needs piloted spacer and longer studs to work which most people opt out of. The 17X9.5 ET18 clears the calipers, but will be real close to the fender if the car is dropped. This is the fit that most run with a little camber adjustment and/or fender roll.

17X9 5-114 ET22 9mm into the front of the caliper. Needs piloted spacer and longer studs to work.

17X9.5 5-114 ET18 clears the calipers.

Here you go.

17x9.5 +38 F&R w/255's. The rears are rolled as it rubbed on compression. Its good now, they never rub.

Better look at the rear.

Sorry they're so big.

I do not recommend you with the +18 in the rear, it sticks out way too far and looks like ish.

grillpt,

Thanks for posting the pics. It's crazy to me that there's no rubbing in the front... It seems safe to assume that you giv'er and would have found out.

anyone know of a wheel manufacturer that makes an afordable (like an RPF1) in 17x11, or even 18x11? I was horrified when wheel shopping recently to see that the Enkie PF1 and RPF1 don't go that wide. It's my go-to bang for the buck wheel...

not trying to hijack but seems remotely related, in the opposite way, haha.

I'll snap some pics for you tomorrow. No rubbing issues but the rears are rolled and the inner fenders are gone front and rear. I just don't like the stretched tire look so trying to find a 9.5" or 9".
