Wheel Offset and Width

Yes...I have searched all around but couldn't get a proper info so I decided to post a thread.

I'm looking to buy Work Emotion 11R in 18" for my EVO 9 and I need advice with the offset and width I should go without having the tyres rubbing on the guards and brake calipers. Car is 25mm lowered than standard. I don't want the tyres sticking out too much,I wanna keep it somewhat close to standard.

18x8.5 offsets available are +38 and +30
18×9.5 offsets available are +38, +30 and +20

Tyre size I am looking to run is 245 40 18.

Please advise me.

Thanks

The 18X9.5 +20 is the widest you can go before it starts to look stupid and depending the type of tire 245's may have a slight stretch

I thought 18x8.5+30 is something that runs without any dramas like rubbing on the side fenders....and looks a bit standard too. I'm not looking for the widest I can go, the "Safest"

Stick w/the 18x9.5+30. The +20 is super tough to fit correctly

Even your +30 will require some rear fender work especially running a 40 series. Will look good for sure.

Make sure the installation is track worthy(zero rub) on works w/ stock camber
