Forever I have wanted coilovers, why? Because that's what people say is better. After looking and realizing for under 2k I'm wasting my time my mind has changed. I was set on fortune auto 500's but I'm starting to think a good shock/spring will handle better. I know I want spec r springs but not sure what shocks to grab. I'm trying to stay at $1000~ or would I be better off buying the fortunes. Thanks in advance

Have you considered Bilstein B14/16?

I have a set of B14 and ride is much more controlled than stock. Not to mention more comfortable!

+ they are better than a majority of Coilovers that break your back and wallet.

Bilsteins and Swifts are a great combo for everyday use. There are limitations to adjustments, which is why many people go to coilovers. Personally, I think FA500 is a good choice. But so is the combo you mentioned
