Will these fit properly?

Run moderate camber (like a +30) & shoe them w/some wide rubber. Get the rear fender work for a zero rub fit on stockish camber

The +15 dont fit. Yes, some run them w/the super stretch tire & roll in out of spec camber but that doesnt work, at least in my book. I understand the want for the super poke but its at the expense of proper fit

So get the 18x9 +30 for proper fit?
Will I need to deviate from factory alignment specs, especially with swift springs?
Sorry for the newbie questions, I'm not very versed in wheel/tire information.
In not here to call out the spec wheel you should get but an 18x9 +30 is a solid, modest spec for the EVO. Even a +30 with a wide tire will cause you to modify the rear fenders. As an example I run 2 different offsets +29 & +30. Both set-ups have required my rear to be fully modded & I run a relatively aggressive 275/40 (roll, pull, bumper bolt & a few other things)
So, Your tire choice & offset will dictate how much fender work is required. Heres a pic I use in the fitment thread that really tells all. The rear tire must articulate fully in the well w/out any contact

The so called "Stance" crowd will do anything to make a low offset wheel fit including adding large amounts of negative camber. By tilting the top of the wheel inboard to the mid-line of the car it helps in fitment but is terrible for handling

So for someone who doesn't want to mess around with fender modifications, what would be a proper tire size for the 18x9 +30 wheel?
Or do I need to abandon the idea of using this wheel?
I've built countless motors and trannies, just never got around to "rolling fenders" so I'm unsure how difficult it would be. I do not want to damage the appearance of the vehicle in any way.

You might want to consider a 255/35/18 or the 245. It might clear w/out any mods. The 255/40 would look so much better but its a much larger tire in circumference.
If you have a reputable body shop roll your fenders you should be OK. Dont have the shop tell you they cut vs roll. Rolling can split the paint but just needs to be sanded & touched up.
Just like its Ok to mod your motor / tranny, its Ok to mod the fenders

Would 245/40/18 be a good compromise and fit without any fender modification on a 18x9 +30 wheel?

After looking at the calculator again w/the 245/40 I think its going to be close, meaning a roll is likely (just my opinion)
Was hoping that you will change your mind regarding the fender roll. The EVO wells are a bit tight for the lower offsets

So like an idiot, I've just now found the calculator at the top of the page.
If the stock wheel/tire package is indeed 17x8 in 235/45/17 +35, then it would appear that the closest package in a 18" size would be a 18x9 in 255/35/18 +30 which would actually decrease tire diameter by .3", lose 7.7mm of inner clearance and extend the lip of the rim 17.7mm outward.
I think I can live with that, even if some slight fender rolling is necessary with a wooden baseball bat
My only concern would be ride quality, I'm not sure how livable a 35 series tire will be on swift springs!!
