Sport springs are still red, i know someone that bought some not to long ago. But hey you can always call swift and check if they changed the colour of their spec r springs. Let me know how these spec r springs feel, im in the market for some.

Black paint has a better rebound effect than the former light blue color paint. The blue paint caused the metal in the springs to rebound way too fast so it was like driving a pogo stick. Once the color was changed and the light refraction index consulted the ride has been corrected.

I found this to be true on the set that I just installed. However, to be safe, I stripped the paint, sprayed the light blue, then went over it with black plasti-dip.

Because plasti-dip is a quality, professional grade tool-handle-dipping paint that it should be applied to everything including the exterior of cars.
