what coilover to buy??????????

I'm going to buy some coilovers for my car and wanted feed back on what coilovers people have and how they like them. I've narrowed it down to HKS hypermax damper IIs, tein flex or cusco

At first I was gonna get cusco zero2r but I didn't want to wait so I got the hipermax II. Costed me 1500 which is alot cheaper than the cusco. I have the front adjusted to 22 and back 26. The car rides alot firmer and there are less body rolls. One thing I don't like about the hipermax is the front adjustment knob is on the bottom. My friend has zero2 on his wrx and I think his car rides kinda harsh.

No thanks. I don't want to ride around on po-go stix. I ordered the HKS Hypermax damper II's. They'll be in by the end of the week. Thanks for the input

Unless you have the Flex's on the softest settings, it's pretty stiff. Great for the track. I don't understand how people can deal with the TEIN RA's.

i've heard bad things about flex??

i don't know what to believe anymore... i'm in the same boat as you... i want coillovers, but i don't know what to get... everyone seems to look more at comfort than performance... i don't mind a stiff ride at all, so i don't know what to think.

HKS on my Evo and the ride is noticeably rougher and has more bounce in cold weather-reminds me of not getting a boat on plane and hence acting like a porpoise.

The spring rates on the tiens are way too stiff for me. They ride softer but bouncy if you go too soft on the setting, and when the setting is hard enough to control the bouncing they are just too stiff. Not good for street. I may try to order some custom rate softer springs for them.
