Tein/Megan/Other Coilover question???

I am in the market for a set of coilovers. I am on Tanabe Gf210 springs now but they dont drop the car enough to dismiss the wheel gap around my 245/35/18s to my liking. I dont AutoX the car and the car is just a weekend warrior with some spirited driving.

I am looking for more adjustatbility and street comfort. I am not looking to spend more than $1200. I realize this isnt near enough of a budget to get a all around quality Coilover but for my needs I know I wont need a Moton or Ohlins High end Coilover.

Ive been looking into Tein Super Streets, as Ive heard the ride quality for street is good. With their 8/6 spring rate Im sure it is. BUT, It doesnt look like their is Camber adjutment plates in the front like the Megans. Also the adjustablility as far as ride height looks to be limited. As the threads look very Shallow compared to other Coilover systems. Im wondering if Tein is just the name when it comes to their SS model,
Next are the Megans, Theyre cheaper and look to offer the camber adjustment plates in front and have extensive height adjustment. But im afraid they may be a little stiff.

Can anyone verify any of these things?

My other Coilover Im looking at now are the Fortune Autos. But it seems like after everything is added up those will exceed my budget.

What maybe some other good coilovers that will cover these two wants on my list?

Thanks

At that price point you're gunna get a lot of recommendations for the FA 500's. I have no personal experience but I've heard good things.

Honestly, with that budget your options are far and few. If you must get coilovers I think your best bet is to be patient and wait for something nice to pop up in the classifieds section.

I understand if ur gonna buy, buy quality. But in this case I wouldn't even use what the quality coilovers have to offer. It would be like buying big money circuit tires and then driving them on the street. Or using a shotgun to kill a mosquito when a fly swatter is just as usable. You get my point. But listen, I Am not trying to take the cheap way out. I know where that gets you with buying parts for cars.
But, why spend more money When it's just gonna sit there waiting to be used.

I'm sure this has been gone over before. But hey....

A lot of people have said the Megans ride rough. Tein don't come with camber plates like you said already. Why not wait a bit longer(save more money) and get Fortune Auto 500 built to how you would use them? You'll be able to rebuild them, unlike the other two so you won't need to toss them in 5 years time.

I recently installed BC coilovers on my car. Normally they cost 1250 but I was able to pick up a set at their warehouse for 1000. They have camber plates for the front and adjustable dampers too. The ride is about as firm as the stock Bilsteins which is ideal for now as my car is my daily driver. If you're located in Florida, specifically Orlando I would consider trying them out.

I may want to sell my Tein set up and try the fa 500's. I haven't got to drive on them yet since I bought my car as a project and the motor is still out of it. But I have Tein flex in my 3000GT and it doesn't have quite enough travel in my opinion for CO roads.

In all honesty when i put them on I couldn't tell much of a difference between stock and the fa's i got 10k front 12k rear so its a little on the stiff side. if this car is your daily driver i'd recommend 9k front and 9k rear. or you can go 9k f and 10k r.. their stuff is quality thats for sure

No, they are stiffer

For ride comfort, the Bilsteins are going to be nearly impossible to beat for the price
