I'm considering purchasing these for my Evolution 8. I tried searching JNC on this forum but came up empty. The price seems too good to be true, is it? Anyone hear anything about JNC?

they weigh almost twice as much as stock wheels
and 19" are too big
and the price is that low because the quality is "meh" at best

Yeah, I did more homework, found Curva 3 Mesh rims and I love the look but they weigh a whopping 38lbs per rim!! $168Originally Posted by llDemonll

I think I'm going to go with 18x8.5 on the XXR 531, 23lbs per rim, $183. Plus I found a XXR 531 fitment guide which helps. I'm considering the XXR 521 (below) because I'm not a fan of the 8-holes and I like rivets.
By the way, what's with everyone butchering their fenders to fit 10" wide rims on their cars? It makes me sad, this hellaflush craze was the worst thing that ever happened to Evos. Anyone who has hydroplaned with negative camber knows better.

I also looked at:
STR 601 (26lbs) $190

XXR 521 (23lbs) $143 - I'm still considering these because I love the colored rivets they offer but there is a limited rim finish selection. If they can mix-and-match the finishes I'll bite, otherwise XXR 531 it is.

Privat AKZENT Opal (29lbs) $186

I've been learning a lot about offset and spacers over the past couple hours, from what I can tell I want 18x8.5 XXR rims with +25mm offset and 25mm spacers in the front.

?? Not a fan of these rims? This might change your mind, found this photo of an Evo on XXR 521s, OMG, so sold, other than the 8-hole, I want 5 holes for sure.Originally Posted by xXANCHORMONXx

it's not that you want 5 holes, you HAVE to have them. 8 holes are for 4-bolt hubs and are dual-drilled for 4x100 and 4x114

Oh yeah, I meant 10 holes, white evo has 10-hole XXR 521s, they also make a 5-hole version.Originally Posted by llDemonll
