Installed my new strut mounts yesterday as the others were knocking badly. It was a pretty straight forward job. Some of the bolts were tight, but I got everything done. I torqued everything back to spec with a torque wrench.

When I went to test drive it I have an awful low pitch squeaking coming from the front right. Sounds like the ghost of a 93 Ford Crown Vic in there. Only coming from the driver's side and sounds rather high. Like close to the strut top. Only happens at stop or low speed. I did not take any boots off and this wasn't present before.

I also get a rubbing noise that is almost certainly coming from the rotor. Maybe there is a rock in there? Idk, but it's annoying. I have had this issue before and it went away after a couple of weeks.

EDIT: I fixed the rubbing noise. The rotor was rubbing on the dust plate at the bottom.

 

And, even though I just replaced the tie rod on the driver's side, the ball joint was squeaking. I put the tube from some lube and sprayed it in there and the noise is gone.
