Traded with a local forum member my stock struts w/Swift springs and some cash for his like-new (maybe 3k miles on them) D2 coilovers and free install by him. Was gonna save up and go with the FA's but since I just basically paid $600 +trade and got them installed on the spot, it was hard to pass up. I don't AutoX, just spirited street driving and straightline pulls so these are plenty fine for my needs. I checked some old threads from AWD motorpsports and at least according to them, these coilovers are plenty fine for normal twists and turns on the road plus great for the track.

 

Unfortunately I don't have a 1/4 mile time with the old setup to compare with the new setup as I've not been down the 1/4 mile, yet. But, guy I got these from ran a 10-something IIRC with this setup and a STM FF kit. Driver mod and he'd be in the 9's most likely.

 

D2s are great for drag racing from what I hear. I recently ditched my bilsteins with swift springs for FA500s, I like how the coilovers ride aggressively

 

Yeah I still need to get an alignment. Work precludes me from getting anything done during the work week but thankfully I'm off this Friday and will get it done then. The D2's, in the 2 weeks I've had them, do fine in straight lines so far as I can tell and also do just fine on hard corners during spirited daily driving. The pudding will be when I finally make some 1/4 runs.
