Question about extended Studs TF or Ichiba

Hey Evom, I just got some 10mm spacers I am going to be running. I know that anything over a 5mm really you will need extended studs to get 5-6 good turns to be safe. So my friend just got brand new Touge Factory Extended lugs that is isn't gonna use any more so he gave them to me. So my question here is

Should I use the extended bolts that came with the ichiba v1 or should I use the TF studs. Anyone ever use TF studs before for track or dd. Thanks

I've used them for dd and one track day. It's been 3 years having them on.

Thanks for the input that's great info. I know tf is a pretty reputable company , but i didn't know how if their studs were good. I heard if ichiba ones snapping a lot.

Nothing against the TF ones, but I would suggest ARP if you can afford it, especially if you are going to be tracking them.

The TF bolts I saw say they are grade 10.9, which typically has a minimum Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) of 150000 PSI or so. The ARP ones are rated at 200000 PSI minimum. Do you really need the extra strength? Probably won't know until you do. The ARP ones also have a bullet nose which helps prevent cross threading nuts.

I have been tracking the ARP ones for 3 years now. The Engineers at ARP know their stuff. I have worked with them through work before and they are good.

Thanks for the input from you too. I would get those studs if I can afford it but money is really tight right now. So that's why I was hoping to get a camparison between the two. If i had the money i would be running project kcic spacers and lugs too
