CoilOver springs changing from one brand to another.

Soooo lets say Ive got a blown set of fortune auto coilovers with swift springs, and I happen to have a set of megan coilovers . Can i swap springs? Will they fit. Lets take this further, say I bought some cheap racelands for $200 could I put fortune auto springs (a lower spring rate) on said coilover like a 4k rear spring and a 8k front for a drag set up? Considering the racelands are valved for say a 11k rear spring in the rear it seems that would be a pretty good combo for the rear squatting and launching. FYI i do not care about "handling" this would be specifically for drag racing. I also live 5 minutes away from Fortune and could get any spec coilover spring I wanted at any rate for $100. So thoughts?

Well called fortune auto and they said my idea will work but handling will be ****. But it'll launch. so there yah go interchangeable and a cheap drag coilovers set up. They have to order 4ks so will test out 6s . This'll cost me a total of 300 bucks and save 40 pounds.

The springs should fit if the inner diameter of both sets of springs are the same.

Fit ≠ Function

If you're on a budget and just need to get the car rolling, yes it could work. Would it be optimal? Probably not
