complete bushing replacement
hey guys ive searched but am a bit confused...i want to replace all of the suspension bushings on my 04...i already did torque solution diff and mustache bar a while back...im looking at the es master bushing kit but people say it is missing some bushings...it doesnt come with all of them...people say to get the es kit and the rest white line and install everything at once which is what i want to do...my question is, how do i know the bushings that are missing from the es kit to order from whiteline? i want to do it one time so i want to order everything at once...if someone can chime in and guide me thatd be awesome...thx...
well I have done so in my previous car...my last car which was an srt4 got all the bushings changed...the es kit brought everything for it...I don't understand why the evo doesn't...seems like everyone takes advantage of us for owning evos...because we're supposed to have money...either way I'd like to know what I need to order...
The internet is a great place---
Here is a short list from a website-

he Energy Suspension Master Bushing kit for the 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 & 9 is a great way to tighten up your Evo's suspension. Energy Suspension bushings are made of polyurethane for improved stiffness and less slop.
The Evo 8 & 9 bushing kit includes:
front & rear control arm bushings
24mm front sway bar bushings
22mm spiral rear sway bar bushings
rear differential/mustache bar bushings.
So you need rear suspension bushings--got to whiteline and look at what they have listed--ES also does separate rear bushing, WL is more complete.

The ES master kit comes with both the large bushing and the small bushing for the front lower control arms. Both are pU with metal sleeves.
The Whiteline large bushing is a better design than the ES. And there are other supplier options too.
The small stock OEM bushing is a spherical bearing with a small amount of rubber in it. It is better than the ES one due to the spherical design. IIRC Mitsu does sell that one. See Russell at mitsubishiparts.net for OEM choices. Other suppliers below

Well I just got myself the ES Hyper-Flex master bushing kit, Whiteline Steering Precision Kit, and the whiteline Front Roll centre/bump steer - correction kit. Will be putting them all on soon, well I'm doing so will keep updated if haven't figured out what bushing you'll still need to get to complete the whole car.
