Angry QUESTION about BRAKES need help NOW.

Ok, so I was prepping the car for the track event this weekend, and I noticed some fluid coming out of the reservior, just were the line comes in, just in front of the cap. I had just upgraded the fluid to Motul, and it looked like it ate through the lock tight on the seal, and a small (about a drop or 2) puddle had formed in the threads. I gave it another pull with the old wrench, and it creaked and snugged up more.

I went back out and beat on it for a few minutes, and didn't see any fluid, is it possible the motul ate through, or because I had just bleed the brakes

No....the Motul didnt eat through your brake lines. You just didnt have the line tight. Now that it is tight, bleed it again just to be sure. Clean the fitting that was leaking so you can make sure it is not leaking anymore........ should be OK for the track!

So, I figure, based on that, it was probably always somewhat loose, and now I just noticed it. It is snug now though.
