Varrstoen MK5 Wheels

http://www.varrstoen.com/product/mk5...-5x114-3-73-1/

Has anybody tried these or know if they clear the brembos? If not what kind of spacers should I be thinking about and will i need to roll or pull the fenders? I've searched plenty but haven't seen anybody running these.

18x10 +25? LOL yes you'll need to roll and extensively pull the fenders and relocate the rear bumper bolt

you'll also need new hubcentric spacers to properly keep the wheel centered

18x10 +25 running a modest 275/30 tire. Very difficult to fit correctly. Too much rear fender work required & would not be pleasing to look at

Not recommended due to the 10" width combined w/the +25. Some 10" wheels work, this one does not

I don't know why but wheel fitment is just one of those things I can't wrap my head around. Does offset make more of a difference in clearing the brakes or fitting under the fenders? So with a wheel like the ES8: http://www.varrstoen.com/product-category/es8-sale/
a lower offset like the +12 or +22 would fit better than the +30 or +35 but still may not clear the brakes...

Caliper clearance is based off of spoke design (concaveness). But, lower offset wheels (i.e. +12) do have a better chance of clearing the brakes than a +30 (positioned further outboard of centerline)

Lower offest (+12 or +25) wheels are tougher to fit on the stock body EVO vs a +30 to +38 wheel

IMO the best bet for aggressive wheels is to make sure they fit in the rear fender.
Then use a spacer in the front as required to barely clear the calipers +3mm.
As stated, the spacer will really depend on the wheel design of the spoke, if it's even needed.

I run an 18x9.5 +25 and still had to roll the fenders. Not so much pull, but I'd imagine that extra 1/2" would require further modification.

make sure you get the right offset...i was naive and relied on the vendor's advice and ended up with a wheel and tire that still didnt fit after rolling the fenders. What that equates to is every time the car dips the side body panel cuts into the tire. not a fun experience.
