Brake Pressure Problem

I'm having an issue with low brake pressure. They will work, it just take a LOT of pedal travel. After one or two pumps pressure will build. I've bled the system twice now but that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Anybody have any ideas?

sounds like you didnt bleed the system properly. bleed it again

starting outside nipple on the caliper then inside nipple, bleed order is passenger rear, driver front, driver rear, passenger front

two people is easiest. pump 3 times once the pedal has pressure, hold, open brake caliper nipple a crack, once the pedal hits the floor close the nipple right away, repeat. be checking the master cylinder reservoir constantly to make sure it is never low or you get to start all over. do this until you have no air bubbles or if you're changing fluid, until the fluid is clean and clear, same color as the new fluid

communication is key for bleeding brakes

Thanks for the bleed instructions but I'm pretty experienced with that. I don't think that's the issue.

Well I'm not sure what else to tell you. Your symptoms point exactly to the system having air in it and needing to be bled.

When did the issues start? Are you using a vacuum bleeder? Are you using the 2-person method? Do you have speed-bleeders on the calipers?

did this problem happen out of thin air?

if not, I knew an old dude who would always ask a simple question;

"what did you fck with"

Then more people will have a better insight & will be able to chime in.

Typically it is a bleed issue or M/C issue as you are describing.

I'd provide the entire story.
One day my car was fine, the next day I go and I have all this stroke? What gives?....
You know, that type of story.
