In 17x9, those gunmetal "MB Motorsports Weapon" wheels are only $148... that is CHEAP!!

If someone could get ahold of a bunch of 17x8 versions (they'd have to be cheaper than the 17x9 version, right?) of that wheel before next fall and mount Blizzaks on them, they would make an IDEAL set of winter wheels/tires to sell to the EVO crowd.

OK, someone that can read japanese check out these for me...

http://www.marukanet.co.jp/wheel/a-tech/eraser.html

At the bottom of the spec list there is a place where it mentions EVO VII and EVO VIII with 2 astericks.... the 2 astericks are placed up by the 17x9 +17 offset wheel, not the +27 offset wheel. Can anyone confirm that the specs are saying that the +17 offset 17x9 wheel is required for A-Tech Eraser for EVO7 and EVO8 usage?

The 17x9 (+17) 7 spoke wheels are available in either gunmetal

or in bronze

Both wheels are only $148 each!! BARGAIN!!

Which color would look best on a white EVO? I am leaning toward the gunmetal, but the more I see of gold/bronze wheels on EVOs the more the scheme grows on me.

and the same question here on the original 17x9 5 spoke wheel that started this thread...

http://www.marukanet.co.jp/wheel/a-tech/cast.html

the EVO fitment (*) seems to be pointing only to the 17x8 +22 offset, with no fitment for 17x9 wheels...

Discount Tire Direct doesn't offer the 5 spoke wheel in anything but 17x9 +27, which the A-Tech site doesn't seem to state will fit the EVO. So the wheel may not fit after all

So what do you think about these inexpensive 7 spoke 17x9 wheels on a white EVO? Which color?

Thanks for any replies!

crud, now DTD lists *all* of the 7 spoke wheels as out of stock! only the 5 spoke in the offset that doesn't seem to fit the EVO are in stock

Ack! Tomorrow's monday, I NEED tires (& Wheels). What wheels can I fit 255's on, without spacers @ stock ride height, with no rubbing. I don't want to risk a blowout on my current tires. Vendors... PM Me... wheels & tires ...mounted and balanced...and shipped!

Thanks again Value, I got scared there for a bit when I saw the online fitment guide, once again I owe you one!

Can you get these wheels in bronze?

Thanks!

Won't the 27mm stick out too far? I would have guessed the 37mm offset to be ideal in a 17x9 for a 245/40 tire... What tire size are most people using on Enkei's 17x9 35mm?

the 5 zigens and the mb's are both quite nice. i'm in the market for rims too, except i want 18's. can anyone recommend rims similar to these (5, 6 spoke) that are 18? these rims don't come in 18 do they?
