Front control arm bushing question.

Front control arm bushing question.

Tried to search didn't see anything similar so can someone tell me if this is what happens when they go bad ? Or is it normal? Or is the control arm trash?


The hole is almost oval and you can see through it . I've never seen a gap like that on any other bushings

I think your control arm is trash. It should be a nice circle shape, lol. Did you hit something hard recently?

Damn. I was thinking that was the case. I haven't hit anything. I just picked this car up and was doing some rust repair.

100% junk. Someone smacked something hard. Be sure to check tie rods and the subframe for damage as well.
