Evo VI 17x9 -245/40

Hello everyone

Trying to get some ideas and info from you regarding this setup I am going to try

17x9 ET+18 wheels with 245/40 tyres. I wonder in the rear will I have do some camber adjustments or any other heavy changes to fit this setup.

I saw this setup on IG - 245/40 on 17x9 ET+22. Dosent say he did camber specifically.

I personally run a 245/40 on a 17x9 +15 and I need a little camber on the rears as well as coilovers to keep from rubbing. The fronts are a little easier but coilovers are an absolute need.

I didn't do anything outside of the factory eccentric on the rear.

Thanks for the reply 🙏

I bought s Tein coilovers kit, I hope factory camber adjustments are enough to this?

FWIW I run 235s on 17x8 +35s, I am lowered about an inch up front and a half inch in the rear and have no issues at all (Evo 6). Should not be too much of a struggle to get those to fit, but why are you running wheels with that much of a change from factory offset?

With 225/45 tyres, need to lower a bit more, i think camber is must, dont think i can run 245/40 tyres with even lower stance

Well I'll be honest about the offset "choice" lol. I got a chance to get my hands on a set of my dream wheels in the dream color at a deal I couldn't pass on. Ideally they would be a +22 offset and I could run a 255 but this was too good of a deal to pass on.
I have tried to trade some S2000 guys and stuff because those prefer the +15 but it just hasn't worked out so I made it work.

I didn't see that you had a 6. That will make it a little different from my 9 but here are some pictures.
