Tanabe vs Tein
Tanabe vs Tein
Ok I am looking at springs while I wait for my coliovers... I have narrowed it down to the Tein S techs and the tanabe gf 210's but I am leaning towards the Stechs. and I have a few questions...
1) from what I have read the tanabes are more track suited due too the Stiffer spring... but I would think that this makes them more rough riding on the street?!?!?! true false what...
2) are either of these BOUNCY? I hate bouncy bouncy
3) anybody tracking their stechs with before and after times or just plain opinions on before and after...
thanks a lot guys

The Stechs are more bouncy compared to the tanabe. The tanabe's feel closer to stock.
The teins lower the front of the car more than the rear giving that *** up look.
The tanabe's drop the car leveled.
I would get neither and save up for the coils

are the tanabes rougher.... and anyone else that has used either of these please chime in...
also stock the evo sits higher in the front which is very wrong by my standards but anyways tein does bring the front a little lower than the back but I think they both look good... I dont do a lot of autocross I just want something to give me better handling, fix the gap, and not bounce or jarr me to death for a good price... about the only thing I do on a regular is go to the strip which I have been slackin on lately...

The Tanabes are definitely stiffer than stock, but less jiggly; mixed reviews on whether they improve handling and drivability. There was a set for $140--shipped--in "Private For Sale".
