Advans--hot (I check pressures after a run): 42(f), 39(r). I start with about 36/37(f), 34/35(r) cold. I ran a couple of events on Goodyears, those tires were pumped to 49(f), 46(r). It depends on your tires and alignment settings, but after a session you should examine the sidewalls and see how they are scuffing or if they are rolling. If you are scuffing beyond the little roll indicator, add air.

I use the same cold settings as Bogie. 36F 35R. You might even have to bleed off a pound or two after they get real hot.

read the first post and you will see ppl is asking what pressure to use at the TRACK.

when you goto the track, autox.....you need to pump up the tire pressure a little to prevent the sidewall from rolling.

I use 38f, 34r hot pressure in autox.

I have ran Stock ADVANs, FALKEN Azenis and ADVAN 032R on varies tracks in Southern California, I found 34psi F & R COLD are about right for EVO and you might want to lower it a bit when the temperature getting very hot (i.e. summer time 100F+)

Hope these help.

You can treak your car's setting to minimize the understeer. Such as, running more negative camber on the front wheels (2 degrees or more, with adjustable upper mount), and suspension tuning (stiffer rear shocks or springs), etc

Tire pressure is one of the area you can tune your car's handling, but I found 34psi is around the sweet spot on Evo's weight....

The front runs more pressure because there is more weight (~600lbs.) up there.

highway tire pressure

Trying to soften up the ride to live with LA highways.
Will 32 psi mess up the stock tires?
