Torque down for rear strut bar?

Hey guys,

Just installed a rear strut but was wondering how much we should torque the thing down to? Not te bolts that connect the bar to the bar ends, but the nuts that connect the bar ends to the car (two on each side). I wouldn't want my struts to come loose while driving or something... thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's 36 pounds just like the front.

Hm, I don't have a torque wrench on me right now, I just hand tightened them with a 3/8. Do you think that's enough?

33 +/- 3 ft-lbs is the proper torque. "Hand tightening" is too subjective. Go up to an auto parts store and borrow their torque wrench--better yet, spend your next $50 on one.

Yeah, I have one, just don't have one with me at my apartment here. Guess I gotta go borrow somebody's.
