alignment recommended????

when is the first alignment recommended for the evo. i read somewhere every 10-15K miles just to be safe and to have no uneven wear on the tires. i called my dealer and asked to set one up and he said they dont do one unless something is wrong with it. id rather pay for the thing and play it safe but if its unnecessary then i wont. what have you guys done?????? thanks.

I think you don't need alignment if your tread wear is even all accross your tire width. I suggest every 20k-25k miles for alignment check. Sometimes tire centers do specials for a free alignment if you purchase a set of tires.

Your better off doing it. Probably 90% of the people who check their alignment from the factory said it was way out, especially toe.
