Question Please help me decide! (Tein VS Tanabe)

I'm going nuts trying to decide which springs to go with ...
I have heard so many mixed reviews on both ...

Tein H: I can't really go with the S Techs although I would love to ... however, due to the fact that I wanna maintain daily drivability without clearence issues I think I would have to go with H-Techs ...

I've heard people say the H-Techs don't handle as well and the high techs were made for luxury cars ... along with other things ...

Tanabe: it seems to be more of a level drop but the car needs to be aligned due to toe in issues ...

I just wanna know the pros and cons of both choices so I can make a good decision on what to get for max performance...

Please people with Tanabe's or Teins-H give me some feedback to decide ...

Thanks.

I said neither..

Just save up for a set of coilovers.

Its night and day compare w/ the traditional spring/strut setup.

I don't think every evo owner have $1500+ lay around for coilover.....lot's of ppl use drop spring and happy with the result.

I have tanabe....i like it. It didn't lower the car too much, at least I have no problem in the NY's rally style road.

you need to do an alignment with either one of the spring.

I'm real happy with the Tanabe's, and like he ^^^ said any drop of the car will require re-alignment.

I have the Tein S-Tech's. Very pleased with them. Have had no clearance
issues. Can easly get in and out of my driveway (was not able to do that
with my lowered Civic). I am however very careful and alert when driving too.

I say Tanabe since they are not as low in front as the Teins are. I have some issues scraping now. The ride is similar to stock, but I think turns are more fun now. Just make sure to get a good alignment done asap with either choice.

I'm slightly leaning towards the Tanabe's now due to the fact that I have to park my car everyday on a 3 story garage ...

anyone got the numbers for alignment for the tanabe's and the tein's ?

thanks for the input guys ...

Here's a shot with the Tanabe's, As for alignment numbers, you can do anything from stock to a full track setup it just depends on how you use your car.

GN+ and Tanabe GF210's

nice car, 992.....i think i would like the springs more if the springs maintained an equal distance from the top of the tire to the fender equally between the rear and the front....

I think the Tein H has a even drop front and rear ... as for the Tein S it kinda slopes downward a little bit ...

Tanabe's are the best, they are stiffer then stock so its a rougher ride...

Plus I like the equal gap it leaves front to back...
