Brake air guides

Does anybody know the part number for the passenger side air guide? My passenger side guide broke off and I don't want to have to buy the whole kit again just for one guide. Thanks.

sorry!

Gotta buy the kit. They are not individualy part #'ed. Did you break off the plastic or the bracket? If the bracket took a hit I would check the bolts....they do connect other more vital parts....

I have a question for you.... I am testing with one side on and one off to see if the guide blows enought air thru the rim to help keep them cleaner (day 4 no diff, both look clean still).

Have you noticed if the guide help keep your rims cleaner? Also would you put metal guides? Or if you hit something is it nice insurance that the plastic breaks off with no other damage? I am testing to decide if I want to manufacture aluminum ones 1/2 off the cost.

Any input would be appreciated!!!!!

The plastic guides actually have a break off tab on the bottom 1/3rd of the guide. Thats what broke. Looks like it does save the rest of the assembly by breaking off. I don't think I would go with metal guides. I noticed that the front wheels do stay a lot cleaner with the guides in place. From now on I'm only gonna put the guides in place before I do a track event so I don't break them off on the street.

Cool Xtreme UK Brake Air Guides

hmm .. those look very functional, as opposed to the wimpy Mitsu ones. I'm tempted to get some for the Summit Point day we have coming up. Maybe some other ppl in the club will want some, we could do a group buy to save shipping costs.

Do you want to start a group buy thread either here or on the DC board?
