Hello. I just purchased my Evo on Saturday. I owned a 2002 Honda S2000 before that. I'm amazed at how well the Evo handles for a sedan, it handles just as well as my S2000. Although the AWd is a change from the RWD. But that's besides the point. I am saving my stock wheels/tires for drag and auto-x events. I want to purchase some wheels in a 19" application but I'm having trouble finding wheels that will clear the front calipers. Does anyone know a few wheels off the top of their head that will fit the Evo? (w/ or w/out spacers)

Thanks a lot everyone.
Tom

p.s. I already used the search function and i really didn't find that many answers.

We currenlty carry the SSR GT-3 in 19" for the EVO. It does require a 5mm spacer and is available in silver and gunmetal (AKA bright satin)

I have Racing Hart Evolution 19" GT5 wheels on right now. They fit like a glove, no rubbing at all as long as you get 235 tire width. Even with my springs no rubbing.

I have 19 X 8.5 volk racing sf winning's and am running 235's as well. As stated above, they don't rub, and fit like a glove.

Will it ever be truly hubcentric then?

I've had RacingHart wheels before and I've always loved the looks of them. I might go that route. What tire size are you guys using? 235/35?

yes 235/35. Make sure to get a tire with a good rub guard. My wheels are 8.5 inch wide, and the nitto 235 tires are kinda stretched, so your rims are much more apt to getting scratched...

Well, wouldn't the rim width make the difference on this? If I went with a 8" rim, it would leave some room for the tire to pucker out on the side for some rim protection?

I think RB Motoring had 19" RH F10's. I don't know what width though.

Volk GT7 will fit the evo 19X8.5 with 30 offset and 235/35/19 all the way around. You can also go as wide as a 19X9.0 with 29 offset.

The Axis Hiro 19in will also fit but you need a 3mm spacer same thing with the Reverb. The Reverb only come in 18 not 19.The only offset they heve that come close is 35offset for both Rims.
