Shocks bottoming out???

I don't even know if I spelled that right....anyway. I just did an install of my DP( Tanabe) Now my steering wheel shakes when I break, but only from above 45mph...again(Mitsu ground down the rotors and balanced the tires last month). WHY??? As of recently, when I hit bumps it feels like the shocks are bottoming out, I am very comfortable with a stiff suspension, but this is different. Oh yea, this may sound dumb, but what does an exhaust leak sound like...a small one, I can hear a bad one but I am not sure about a small one. ThX.

Did you torque down the lug nuts properly when you reinstalled your wheels using a torque wrench? The spec for our lug nuts are 73 +/- 7 ft-lbs. Your wheel sandwiches the rotor to the hub and can possibly warp your rotors if your lug nuts are not torqued down evenly.

How much did those springs drop your car? Did you cut the bump stops during your install?
