Question for the tirerack people

According to your website, the Kumho Ecsta ASX in 235/45-17 are backordered, any idea when you are expecting these back in the indiana warehouse?

Thanks

Alex

Their pretty slow getting us tires sometimes. In this case Kumho dosent have an estimated delivery date on that tire. So, it could take 6-8 weeks before those arrive to us. If you need tires right away, I would suggest moving to another that we have in stock.

Yeah its fustrating for me too! Many have had great luck with the Conti Extreme Contact. Thats a great tire to use. Yokohamas AVS Db S2 is another great performer, but the Conti will have better all season traction.

Looks like I'll be ordering Conti's on SSR Comps this evening then... I had looked at those, but can't remember why I turned my attention to the Kumhos, probably price and the fact that I have had, and liked, Kumhos before.

Thanks for your help.

Im still having the hardest time trying to chose a tire. never used a conti before, had kumho on my old mustang and was very pleased for the price. Choosing a tire for my evo is like life or death, dont want to spend nearly 900 for stock replacements, but cant decide what tire i will not lose major performance on for a cheaper price... Neal u have PM

In my order information it has a line for a lugadapter... What is that?

I could wait until this evening to find out, but I'm not the most patient of people..

Hehe no problem. We supply you with a wheel specific set of lugs at no charge with this pack. The adapter lets you use the stock lug wrench in the trunk with the aftermarket lugs. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to fit the wrench in the hole of the wheel or over our lugs.

The lug heads are 21mm and the wrench is 17mm. So the adapter has a 21mm end that attaches to the lugs and a 17mm end that attaches to your wrench
