New Vendor!
Well, we're not exactly NEW, but we're newly appointed to "Gold Vendor" status here on evolutionm.net. So I thought I'd introduce myself and tell you all a little about our company.
Mach V Motorsports is located in Falls Church, VA, just outside Washington, DC. We have a staff of eight, and ship parts daily to all fifty states. We have web sites for the DSM cars, the Subaru WRX, and now the Lancer Evolution. Our DSM site is one of the more popular ones on the web; we get over 1,000,000 page views a month.
Mach V Motorsports has been around since 1998, and we've sold parts for turbo Mitubishi cars from the very beginning. I personally have owned three turbo Mitsubishis, culminating with our shop Evo VIII.
My personal philosophy is that modifying your car is a complicated task, and that there's no "one size fits all" assortment of mods. So we specialize in helping to educate our customers about their choices, and why different parts do what they do. It's not just about making a sale; it's about getting the customer the part they NEED. I figure, nobody is born knowing all the technical knowledge about turbo cars, so when people call with questions, it's our job to try to educate them.
We try very, very hard to please our customers. For parts that are in stock, we will often fufill the order withing 24 hours. We strive mightily to stock everything we sell, but the fragile nature of our industry means that's not always the case. Still, we maintain a very large stock to make sure we can provide solid fulfillment times.
Our state-of-the-art inventory management system ensures every item is bar-coded and scanned on the way in and out of the shop. It allows us to have very accurate order fulfillment, and to maintain our inventory levels so that we'll very likely have what you need when you want to order it. Our automated systems send e-mail messages to you to notify you about the status of your order, and send you a tracking number when it ships.
We don't offer every brand or part under the sun. What we do offer, we have tried and tested first-hand. We make sure everything we sell is high-quality and will make our customers happy. If we find we're seeing too many returns, we'll stop selling a product.
Very soon we'll have a printed full-color catalog to supplement our web catalog. That means you'll be able to shop off-line as well as online.
We are open between 9:30 and 5:30, eastern time, plus 12-5 on Saturdays. We work very hard to answer our phones during business hours; we have five inbound lines, but sometimes they do fill up, so call back in a few minutes if you get the voice mail during business hours. We do have staff meetings every other Friday for lunch, and we don't answer the phone during that time.
For now, retailing parts has kept me and the rest of the staff very busy, and we really haven't felt like we had the time or resources to set up an installation facility. That may change in the next year or so. (If you think you'd really like us to install the parts we sell you, let us know.)
Thanks for reading. I'll be monitoring this forum, as well as our own in-house Evo forum. If you want to contact me, you can send me a PM, e-mail , or just call the shop and ask for Dan.

SUCKS BIG TIME...
we all thought there'd be much more aftermarkets for our Lancer after the EVO's come out..
but still nada.....
but somehow they are right..
if we had the $$ for the mods on our Lancers, we would have got the Evo....
EDIT: oh ya and welcome
