New dyno numbers for the Mach V Evo
We added a Buschur Racing intercooler pipe and the 1G Eclipse CBV to our Evo, and did another dyno session. Best number was 282.5 hp, 250.6 torque.
Current mods:
- Buschur turbo-back exhaust, "offroad" type
- Buschur intake
- Buschur battery kit
- Buschur Racing intercooler pipe
- Super AFC
- Hallman Pro boost controller
It's interesting that the gain (vs. stock) is really all in the top-end -- it's only making 10 more lb-ft. or torque than it was before, but it's maintaining that almost all the way across the chart. We haven't done any tinkering with the timing, so the midrange is mostly left alone. But the car pulls up top like crazy. It's a lot of fun to drive now, especially in low gears, where you just want to hold it in gear while the car squats and accelerates. It might be nice to have a higher redline!
Next mods will be the Buschur Racing intake pipe (MAS to turbo) and an NX N-Tercooler intercooler chiller. Watch for more dyno charts as soon as I can get around to it.
