VG Shark Fin Antenna >> Black Friday Special!

Visual Garage Inc. is proud to present our fully functional, custom painted and fitted AM/FM Shark Fin Antenna! We are offering group buy pricing as a Black Friday Sale on our VG Shark Fin Antennas for a limited time only! There are already many proud Lancer owners throughout North America and internationally who are satisfied with our VG Shark Fin Antenna. Here are some of our customers pictures with our shark fin antenna installed:

Our VG Shark Fin Antenna replaces your AM/FM whip antenna and covers your entire antenna base. When ordering, provide your car’s color code and we will paint it to match your vehicle. Installation is really easy, takes no longer than 10-15 minutes and is fully reversible should you want to remove it in the future. Reception is usually rated between a stubby antenna and the long whip antenna, but in general, within the city you shouldn’t notice a change. If you are further away from the towers, or the stations you are listening to have weaker signals, you might notice some loss.

There are two types of antenna bases for the Lancer, and we have now confirmed that both types are compatible with our antenna. On the standard antenna base with the swivel, there is a “sweet spot” where the antenna must be mounted in order for it to sit flush on the roof.

This is the first time we’ve held a group buy without minimum quantities while offering the deepest discount, so get in on it while you can. We will take orders until Nov 30, 2008 and ship first week of December.

Our MSRP is $69USD. Shipping and handling is $12USD to North America. If you are located in Canada, sales taxes will apply. If you are located outside of North America, additional $6 for standard shipping will apply, and you have the option of adding $10 for upgraded shipping including tracking number and insurance.

To order, you must visit this order page http://www.visualgarage.com/groupbuyorder.php and enter the log in code reserved for EvolutionM forums: evolutionm2j6k

I've been wanting to pick one of these up for awhile now, and with the sale price I might have to get some funds together. I've read that some people are having a problem with it lifting up a tiny bit at the back?

We've looked into that issue and have re-confirmed fitment for the Lancer, whether with integrated Sirius antenna or not, and place an emphasis on owners to follow the installation instructions completely when doing the install. If there are still problems, we'll help to provide a solution.

Being in freezing temperatures outside now, would the adhesive stick better if waited to be installed in the spring?

We recommend the adhesive be installed at around room temperature, and definitely not at freezing temperatures. It would be best to install at a shop or a heated garage. In the installation instructions, we recommend using a hair dryer to warm up the room temporarily immediately before adhering to the roof.

So if i follow the directions and placing the tape at the markers the shark fin should cover the base of my xm base with it fitting properly right?

Rad, I'm thinking of getting one. I had one on my Mazdaspeed 3 2011 when I had it before, trading it in for my EVO 10.
