ev8sive : I have maps for 93-91 octane with just about any mod combination.
You will own with this flash. (Unless you run into someone with more mods and the same flash.)
MYEVO8U : Its hard to get boost to hold till redline and still be safe. The way boost in regulated by the ECU in the EVO makes it so you need to be very agressive to get it to stay strong till redline. We dont like agressive because thet = BOOM!! For 60 bucks you an add a MBC and then it will hold safely and still cost less that everyuone elses flash.

How easy/hard is the removal of the ECU? Where is it? Do you have to unplug the battery? + and - or just +?
And you said 60 bucks for a MBC on top of the 199 flash w/ free overnight right? Is that Turbo XS?

You will need a 10mm Socket or wrench. Take out your glove box, undo the 3 10mm bolts holding the ECU in place. Undo the battery negative. Then underneath the ECU remove the small plastic panel by pulling, then pop the 4 ECU plugs out and you're done.
Takes about 2 minutes.
