fiberglass box...finally!
fiberglass box...finally!
Well it's almost done. Needs a bit more bondo for curvy edges and then carpet. As it is, it fits perfectly
in the stock Rockford sub location. In fact it doesn't even stick out further then the Rockford did. I'm
going to put a JL 10W6v2 in it. A big thanks to Francisco at Pacific Stereo. Homeboy has got skillz.
I'll post more pics this weekend, hopefully of the end product.

dam thats sweet
but i have a question if you do have more than one sub and you need an amp where would you mount it? Because I wouldn't want to have to mount one on the floor of the trunk. It would take up to much room.

That looks great. I'm sure it will hit nicely.
To answer your question you could mount the amp upside down on the ceiling of the trunk. Someone did it on here.

I hope to have my amp rack done this weekend also. I'm using these new Alpine 'digital' amps. One is 4x150 and the other is 1x600. I had the 4x150 under the driver seat but have decided to move it to the trunk and stack it on the 1x600. The amp rack will sit opposite the subwoofer.
