40whp and all i did was add water/meth

well i got a AEM universal Water/Meth kit and installed it last week. the car felt amazing... I told my buddy it felt like 40 WHP... well i hit the dyno. and made Exactly 40 whp.. haha.

new numbers, 343 whp 321 wtq

i also made the 304 WHP with a xtremeboost FMIC, and this run was made with a STOCK FMIC..... the xtremeboost intercooler added 30WHP... so you could say i made 70WHP from meth .

sorry, we are doing some work on the house, so the scanner is not hooked up. heres a pic.

I also did not adjust the boost what so ever, and the meth allowed me to hold much, much more boost up top. i was only holding about 22 lbs, now its solid holding 26psi.

the car started to lean out up top, which is why the graph only goes to 6500 rpms. this is a mail in flash from Dino, all that will be taken care of with jester when i hit florida at the end of this month and make my goal of 400 whp.

Install pics.

Very nice! You should have no problem hitting your goal once Jestr custom tailors your tune.

Nice! So without any extra tuning, the water/meth itself made the 40whp and the water/meth itself allowed the boost to be held at 26psi to redline?

Looks like I'll have to pick one of these kits up in the near future

I think I may have to find a friend thats more electrically inclined then myself. Those wire diagrams make my head hurt.

^ The wires are nothing. It's mostly straightforward with some power tapping. The electronics are nothing to be afraid of.

However, the other stuff scares me, like installing a nozzle before the throttle butterfly, and a boost hose after throttle. If you can do that, the wiring it nothing.

No problem. I'll eventually be doing this myself, so if you can show me the mechanical crap, I can take care of the rest. I don't know enough about turbo cars (or cars in general), so if you asked me to point out what/where the throttle butterfly is, I'd breakdown in tears.

Thanks for the pictures meat, they're quite helpful.
