Chuck's +100whp DG Tuned Evo X!

As most of you know, we hosted a dyno day for EvolutionM.net this past Sunday. The turnout was great and we had many out of state evo x's come down for some tuning! Chuck came all the way from PA with his evo x that was in need of some tuning! We have talked many times on the phone considering what parts were needed to start making some good power. Needless to say, the car picked up 100whp with only a Catback, Test Pipe, and Intake.

I'm also going to say that Chuck was the first on our dyno and it was MUCH cooler and less humid than the later tunes we had throughout the day. I believe temps were in the mid 70's and 50% humidity around 10 A.M when we started strapping the car down. As the day progressed it neared 90 degrees and 75% humidity on the dyno weather station.

Mods:

Cat back
Test Pipe
Intake

Gains:

+50whp/60wtq @ 3,650rpm

+100whp/100wtq @ 5,252rpm

+125whp/100wtq @ 6,250rpm

+110whp/80wtq @ 7,000rpm

Nice smooth and flat power/torque curves!

Boost Plot:

Final boost was 24psi on 93 Octane.

Thanks for making the long trip from PA to come check out our facility Chuck! Enjoy the car and see you in the future!

100whp always leaves smiles. The car is reliable, safe, and drives just as it did before it got strapped down on the dyno but a tad faster than before

pete, are you gonna post up a thread on the whole day? would definitely allow you to make a thread for my car/tune.

edit: After putting down 297 whp yesterday, i pulled on a 380 whp sti today. He has a fmic, intake, full turboback, APS reverse mount turbo, manifold, injectors, etc.

The turbo kit was bought used and apparently on the previous car it put down 335 whp. After the guy bought the kit, installed it, and had it retuned at XX tuning in CT. The car made 379whp on their dynapack dyno.

Surely. That is not a problem. If you can, just PM me the last 6 digits of your VIN number so I can go into the database on the computer and pull up your graphs!

I must of forgot to add yours too!

Good to hear you are enjoying your car..
