I have to get a dual outlet. I do not like the look of an opening with the rear diffuser.

No doubt. I've seen a couple, and I think it just ruins the look.

Is that tapered section coming back from the MAF holding it back any? Is there a larger MAF housing offered that will remove that tapering down?

Personally I like the lag under normal driving conditions its easier to stay out of boost with this setup and manage gas consumption under daily driving. This turbo comes alive at 4500 where as the stock was around 3000. The top end is relentless and it makes up for what you lose down low in my opinion.
Always is nice 2 save gas staying ou of boost..who needs stop & go boost when you can just hit at will & have fun
