EVO X + Sean Ivey
EVO X + Sean Ivey
I took my 2010 EVO X GSR to Mr. Ivey to have him work his magic.
The only modification done to the car is a K&N Drop In Filter, other then that the car is Bone Stock.
My baseline run without the K&N Filter was 267whp and 270wtq. Sean told me that this was higher then the average 2008 Models.
Final Numbers with the K&N Drop In Filter are:
315whp
324wtq
Car is much smoother and pulls much stronger throughout the entire rpm range. Gas mileage is up 3mpg highway cruising. Thanks again Sean, my IX loved you and my X loves you even more

Very nice #'s, I think I will be taking my car to Ivey once I get my parts on.
Kinda off topic, but its safe to install an aftermarket intercooler without a tune? Obviously I will get a tune shortly after, but I just want to make sure its kool for me to install and drive up there.
Also, for the LICP, I see there is a large bracket that holds it in place on the right side of teh car. If I unbolt that screw, will it just twist out? (I just want to make sure, that all I have to do is take the bumper off, and I should be able to finagle the LICP out and put the new one in with minimal issues? When I do my FMIC, I want to replace all the piping at the same time.
