Definietly looks like a great street friendly setup with minmal spool loss compared to a tuned stock turbo setup.

You'll likely still get some boost taper past 7k rpm no matter what you do but in the 5k-7k range expect that a better WGA will gain 2-3 psi to really bump you a good 20-30 whp and that is likely going to push you up another 20% on the load tables. Assuming the AFR and timing numbers are similar in those RPM ranges the tune should be good to go but if it's richer and less timing the gains in boost my be mostly erased and require a tweak to the tune.

Late reply.

I am thinking of putting in a Electronic Boost Controller to try and smooth things out on that boost curve. Others led me to believe that would be possible. Then if that doesn't work, go with an upgraded WGA. I'm tempted to do cams, but I'd rather wait and really go all out later with a bunch of head work, cams, springs, etc.

Right now the next upgrade which was picked up today is an Escort 9500ci radar detector (custom installed - nothing on the windshield), and some laser jammers.

But car feels good. However, I can't help but say, in retrospect, I would have gone with an FP Red, which is exactly what AMS told me. But no worries, do it somewhat backwards, and hopefully my employer will cut me a deal on a nice big Garrett turbocharger

These are solid numbers but personally just not enough.

I think the green/red both have their advantages/disadvantages though obviously.

Get a 3 port for sure, cams help big time too!
