still can't get an explanation from AMS about this? Kinda shady business to sell a $21K kit to us if the same kit didn't even last a few hours on their sponsored car. At least tell us what happened.....

 

Is the Gates car out racing again? It is lame that there is no updates, stuff happens in racing when u push a engine to its limits. I'm sure its embarrassing, but say something!!!, blam it on Gates hes getting free parts anyway.

 

I wish I had an answer for you all, but I dont...I haven't even heard what caused the failure yet. I do know that the car will be up and running for a test on Tuesday though. I'll make sure everyone knows what goes down from the test day for sure

 

I think every mechanic in the business is sleeping on a cot at their shops. It's a tough time to get stuff done.

I think he meant that all the shops are swamped this time of year.

 

We are pretty swamped at the moment. We also have our technician Danny and tuner Chris in New York and myself in Texas this weekend and PBIR last weekend for race support.

sorry to go off topic but why hasnt ams played with any civcs yet such as bseries or k series turbo setups!! sick! lol just asking I own my evo and love it but im a honda guy at heart (gets ready for the honda haters ahhh! lol)

 

You probably aren't the only one coming from a honda...i had a turbo RSX type S...i miss it deep down...but i don't miss spinning through 3 gears, lol.

 

got to love the trap speeds in the 1/4 tho lol
