However, that is basically take a stock evo and pay 21g's and get all the components to make it a beast. It's a lot of money, but most of us will spend that much over time anyway. However, the labor on top of it would be killer.

The head has Kelford cams, springs and retainers but other than that she is stock

 

Man, at these power levels, I would assume a little PnP of the head and some +1mm oversized valves would pick up 30-40whp. You would easily crack the 800whp id say.

 

what more amazing is that even with the stock final drive this car has now gone a best of 10.1 @ 135 mph! Next up is less weight and the Shep trans final drive!

I think the reason they said 900x package as that was the rough crank HP level of the turbo kit.

 

any news on this car? whp? is it close to 9 secs yet?

I don't think so, I checked YouTube to see and we have the only 9 sec pass.

 

I am sure the car has 9's in it but in the past few years most shops have really given up on having a drag car, at least with the X's.

It kind of sucks but most people don't build drag cars out of the X's so it doesn't make sense as far as promotions go for how pricey they are.

 

Thats some great HP, Whats the car put down on pump gas?

As a daily driver $15 a gallon is pricey.
