Various Evo X's Tuned at AMS Performance- High HP Builds
Hello,
Well we are pretty quiet on the forums for the most part as Chris and I are very busy tuning but we wanted to show a couple cars we have done.
We tuned some of these cars a while ago but figure its better late than never. I dont remember all the parts on these cars so I will do the best I can. These cars were tuned by Chris Black and myself, Mitch Mckee.
Ok to start with:
2008 Evo X-
Basic rundown of mods:
AMS 2.2l
AMS 900x
Motec M800 plugin ECU tuned by Mitch M
C16 Gas
ID2000cc Inj
Kelford "B" cams
This is ECU based boost control on the ecu. There is more left in it but left it around 35psi for the customer to enjoy.
Pump gas this car makes around 500hp at 24psi.

2010 Evo X-
AMS2.2l
AMS CNC Head
AMS "TMP" Cams
AMS 950R/hybrid turbo"- More on this later
ID2000'cc
M800 Motec Plugin ECU- Tuned by Mr. Chris Black
This car is also on ECU based boost control. If you haven't noticed this is our preferred method for boost control on any car and the PI control on the Motec is amazing. Chris did an amazing job on this car!
Pump Gas-

C16-

This car is very fast. 720hp on our mustang is a lot. On the dyno jet it would put us somewhere around 780-800whp.
Overall this is my favorite setup on the Evo X. The cars spool fast and the power band is suuuupper long. Great setup for anything you would like to do be it drag race, road race etc.

Yes the 720hp car is fast. Even on pump gas it was breaking wheels loose on the street. The thing on pump gas has full boost around 4200RPM's or something crazy.
