327/323 STM tuned, ETS intake & test pipe

2012 EVO X GSR with 9,200 miles on it.

Mods:
ETS intake
ETS test pipe
Hallman MBC @ 27 PSI

Well I've had the car for about two months now. Really couldn't wait to get started. We threw on a few basic bolt ons and it was time for a tune. This Friday we headed out to STM and got the car on the dyno. In four pulls Emery had the car dialed in and putting out 327 hp and 323 trq on their mustang dyno. Couldn't be happier with the results and they had a great crew up there.

At the end of the day the dyno numbers don't mean much. I'm hoping to get out to the track soon to see what it can do.

Here's a graph with the results.

Honestly until you upgrade your turbo, or switch to e85 it's kind of a waste of money to have "all of the bolt-ons". I have a complete Buschur stage 3 and I only made 337 on the same dyno, tuned by emery. And actually make like 1 hp more than Matt does because of the 275 tires I put on the car. It robbed 14 hp. Enjoy the car Matt you know where I'm at if you ever need help haha.

Solid line is the car in the OP of this thread.

Dashed line is 05orangess's full bolt on buschur car with 275 tires.

Both cars on Hallman pro's @ 27 psi.

The rest of the bolt on's aren't worth the cash until you're making more power to justify it.

Thanks Chris. I appreciate the help. Turbo upgrade is definitely gonna be the next step on this car. Just gotta see what I can put together.

Definitely a good time! The car is night and day different. I'll be back up for the open house in a week. Thanks again guys!

What gasket did you use since the dp and catback is 2.5" and the testpipe is 3"? Also did it change the sound of the exhaust?

I just used the 3" gaskets that came with the ETS test pipe. They work fine. The exhaust note is barely different. Maybe just a touch louder than stock at WOT but honestly you can barely tell.

STM uses a Mustang dyno. It's said to read quite low compared to many others.
