Boostin Performance - 2012 Evo X GSR stock

Went great. Great staff and clean shop. I'll post graphs later - I have a baseline, final tune, and overlay of the two. All on 93 octane.

Baseline - 241 hp/257tq. Extremely rich, lumpy boost, and flat hp after 4500 rpms

Final tune - 295 hp/303tq. Those are peak numbers. At the lower end of the rpm range there are gains of ~60 tq. Car is leaned out a bit (still very safe), boost is smoothed (25-26psi), and power grows to redline (7400). Also added a 2 step launch control feature into the tune.

All of this is on a completely stock car, save a Grimmspeed BC. Fantastic $/hp ratio.

Car feels much more alive than it did before. Many thanks to Devin and crew for the great work and hospitality. Starting to build the next shopping list.

Very nice gains with the tune + EBCS. Should have come like that from the factory lol. Good luck on future plans because these cars are money pits for sure

Yeah, I have owned an evo 8 and an STI before the X and modded both. At least w the evo's $ = X hp vs the STI $$$ = X hp

Thanks for the upload!

I've already packaged together the next list of parts and had a few questions. I'll give you a call later today.

In parallel I've begun 'conditioning' the wife on the outlay of cash. This is a slippery slope....

Yeah, I think it does at 5k rpms. Not really sure on how that compares to what I've got (other than 400rpms). Honestly, not a huge deal for me as I don't have the cahones to drop the clutch with the gas on the floor at either rpm. Sounds like a recipe to break something...
