Thanks

I was actually pushin it pretty hard. I'm out of fuel pump so a bit limited on boost. My ignition timing is ramped up pretty good. I'll post a video soon.

This is great! Finally. RD Engineering tuned too perfection with a fat powerband! Great setup. Keep up the good work bud. Can't wait to see the final product and those custom brakes

I'm running the same turbo and love it. Was originally on a walbro 255 and ran out of fuel at around 450whp. Upgraded to a walbro 400 but kept the tune 'conservative'. Still a lot of room for more power with this turbo in my opinion, but I'm sitting at 120k miles on the clock and dont want to push it.

I might be able to pull a little more out of it but I don't think its worth it.

The fact that the pump isn't hardwired yet, doesn't help.

did you happen to tune this setup on pump at any point? I am interested in this turbo but have no aspirations to run e85 due to the lack of availability near me.

Yes I originally dialed the car in on 91 octane. It ran great, but didnt get a chance to Dyno it. I'm pretty sure your premium gas is much better than the crappy Cali 91. Car should run great with the right tuner.

For me the Garrett name says it all. Been using them for a very long time, can't go wrong. This is a great street turbo, well balanced. Haven't experienced the bigger mhi to compare.

Out of curiosity do you know if they use the snapshot feature for engine rpm or an actual rpm pickup, either mag or optical?

What I know is his original way to to pick rpm was off and I can't tell u what that was.

I do know he ended up using an optical strategy. There was reflective tape placed on a drive pulley and a Red laser beam.
