issues after new timing chain install

Hi
. Im having some issues with my evo x and maybe you guys can help me. Long story short i blew my x engine, so now the whole bottom end is built, wiseco piston, manley rods, acl bearings, arp bolts, new timing chain,i didnt change the tensioner, didnt change oil pump. Yesterday we finish the install. I take it to a ride but big red triangle with"service engine system requird" came up along with p0606,p0011,p0014 codes, after that the car wont iddle for a while but then come to normal. Crusing is perfect no issues with that. Erase the codes, the car runs fine but as soon as the red triangle came up everything is fu...k up. I double check timing marks and they are ok

Sounds like the oil control valves are plugged.

Pull them out and check for debri stuck in the screens.

Yeah your probably filled the Solenoids with crap. I would had def replaced the oil pump and timing chain tensioner and cleaned all the solenoids before starting the new engine

I cleaned all the solenoids before install. If i erase the codes the car start normally but as soon as the message"engine system service required" appears on the cluster the problem comes

All three codes return immediately?

In reguards to P0011
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS (The most likely causes for this code to be set are
- Intake engine oil control valve failed.
- Oil passage of variable valve timing control system clogged.
- Intake variable valve timing sprocket operation mechanism stuck.
- ECM failed.
Also for the oil control valves. Remove them, this procedure applies to both intake and exhaust solenoids.
Apply power and ground to the pins and observe audible operation, only a short duration is necessary. If they are inoperative replace them.
If that checks ok, measure resistance.

Standard value: 6.9 - 7.9 ohms [at 20 °C (68 °F)]

What exactly happened to merit a rebuild of the engine?
What year evo? mr?

You need to figure out why you cam solenoids aren't getting proper oil pressure. Or operating at all???
Try my diagnostic procedure outlined in my last post and report back.

Additionally take pictures of any debri in the engine or solenoids.

P0300 is because the solenoids can't properly adjust, resulting in a misfire.

The pcm will throw multiple codes as a result from the codes that are really the main issue. Don't worry about p0300 or P0606.

It's throwing codes for a reason. I wouldn't drive it till the problem is resolved.

Did you reset your timing chain values back to 0 since you replaced it with a new one. you need a special mitsu tool for that. The car might be re-learning the values.
