It is, but them having the fastest Evo's in Texas is a plus :)

COBB is 400+ for a AP tune and live revision. Where they really get you is shop time... like 130 per hr or something to that effect and remember they have a mustang dyno so the numbers are going to make you sad lol.

Fix all your issues before you get there just a word of advice because if you have an issue its an automatic hr of shop time + dyno fee.

However in the interest of good corporate social responsibility... i would go back to JMS and Jorge and explain what is going on and give him an opportunity to remidy the situation.

They have some really good work so im not sure what happened to yours or why they would deline an opportunity to make it right.

Kracka Dec 15, 2012 10:42 AM

Cobb-Plano's retail rate for a custom dyno tune is a flat $400.

COBB Austin are not a bad group of guys... but if you have a fix for your situation right here why look any further?

CainEvoX Dec 18, 2012 04:42 PM

went back to jms and my primary o2 sensor was causing the jerking, had nothing to do with the tune and the car is still running great and pulling hard on stock clutch:)

Kracka Dec 19, 2012 03:53 PM

Please explain.

ok... you need to talk to Eric @ kozmic ( http://kozmicmotorsports.com/ )
855-890-4772, or
Jeremy@ SSP ( http://www.sspperformance.com/ ) 443.636.0530,

BEFORE you buy your clutch and what not... and dont get me wrong your going to do what your going to do... but there is alot more to getting a good clutch for your evo.. rather then just picking something based on a brade you know from your buddies honda.. I dont know how much you know about evo's or how much you read or if you are a super mechanic, no matter how good you are or not... we all have to do research.. so you should do yours on the parts you want and how they work well or not so well with the things you want the car to do.

for example.. you just got the car a month ago... and your replacing the clutch.. why? what is wrong with the stock one.. it is more then capable of holding the power
I.E : click me for clutch thread
so with that said.. know what you want to do with the car and call kozmic.

Also... give jorge a chance to rectify what is wrong with your car... its not right in any way to bag on a tuner for something that happened and not even give them a chance to fix the situation..

Best of luck... if you need anything or help feel free to shoot me a PM, I'd be glad to help ya if you need it with your car, and welcome to EvoM.
