Evo real jerking after tune and boost isnt loading in 1st gear.

So I noticed after my tune that around 1-1500 rpms 1st or 2nd gear my car is very jerky, I mean its very annoying and don't remember that happening before my tune. I also noticed that in 1st gear the boost doesnt load, even when I redline it, is this normal? Thanks

Boost cant build in first because of how short and how little load the gear is/has... As far as jerking at 1500... My car has always done that... Its a really low rpm and ignition is trying to take place early due to load/throttle position. Causing it to basically detonate in simple terms. It jars the rotating assembly because the full burn is supposed to happen much later then its being allowed to... At least thats my take on it...

I don't agree with the no-boost in first statement. My car builds boost in first as long as the revs are up (which I never need to go WOT and high revs in first while commuting, but at the track I see it).

Your car *should* run fine. If you have issues, contact your tuner. Doesn't sound healthy at all.

Yeah I'm going to there shop today so they can drive in it with me. But one of them there said the tune wouldn't affect the boost not loading? But that doesn't make sense since it did before I got tuned. The car runs very well it's just when I'm going 0-10mph it jerks back and forth and the rpm needle bounces up and down very little.

The car jerking/bucking is definitely the tune that's for sure.

Mine does it with the Cobb OTS Beta Stage 1 map but only in 1st gear under light throttle at the lower rpms aprx 1500-2000, or when I'm trying to crawl.

My car builds full boost in 1st.

My car only bucks when the CBV flutters on a part-throttle lift; it will do this in any gear.

However, I am never at 1500 rpm in 2nd (or higher), so my data are limited.
