Problems getting ECU controlled boost to work.

After having problems getting it work countless times and switching back to a MBC, I'm trying it again. I've went through several threads each time and still can't get what I want out of it.

I have an '03 Evo VIII using an Omni 4-Bar and a GM 3 port EBCS on a Tephra V7 94170715 ROM.

No matter where I set the baseline WGDC, BDE PSI, and Boost Adder, it seems to completely run off the "WGDC=100% under the load" setting where I tested it at 100 and 150 load where it stays at 100% and dives straight to 0% at that load through the whole pull. Even with the WDGC and PSI table zeroed out on the Alternate map, it does the same thing and same boost. Boost increases with each gear at roughly 4psi per gear, 28psi in 1st to 40psi in 4th with 0% WGDC.

I can upload a pic of my table settings later but it has to be something else seeing what I've already tried.

40 psi at 0% wgdc sounds like your solenoid is hooked up wrong.

And wouldn't he it Boost cut Load? Doesn't that also drop the WGDC down?

More than likely it is hooked up backwards.

Hooked up exactly like this. When blowing through port C, air comes out of port A.

you cant wire them backward, solenoids dont care about polarity.

i still say its a hardware issue. if the pcm was commanding 0% wgdc and you were making 40psi then something is stuck.

I'll try to find my old EGR solenoid and use it as a 3 port, the connectors are the same.
