I'm looking for advice on upgrading the intercooler on my LML Duramax. I’ve been noticing higher intake air temperatures during towing and spirited driving, and I’m wondering if a larger aftermarket intercooler is worth the investment.
How much improvement in IAT reduction and overall engine performance can I realistically expect? Are there any brands that offer the best balance of reliability, cooling efficiency, and fitment without major modifications? Also, will upgrading the intercooler require any tuning changes or affect fuel economy?
